2021 Tax Returns

If you would like us to prepare and submit your 2021 Self-Assessment Tax Return, please get your paperwork to us by Friday 26 November 2021.

A list of the information we will need is below.  You may not have all the types of income and paperwork listed so please just refer to the ones that are relevant to you.  

This is for the period 6 April 2020 – 5 April 2021.

Getting your paperwork to us.

You can drop your books off at our offices. You can drop small bundles through the letterboxes in the shutter on an evening or weekend, or you can send your paperwork via Royal Mail or courier.

No last-minute capacity!

Whilst we often have the capacity to squeeze a few last-minute returns in during January; the past 18 months have been very challenging and if we do not receive the information by 26 November, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet the filing deadline and we may need to charge additional fees to cover staff overtime. It is unlikely that the filing deadline will be extended.

Late Tax Returns incur a minimum £100 HMRC penalty.

Nothing to declare?

Even if your income dropped due to covid, HMRC still expect a tax return to be filed before the deadline. Any SEISS grants received in the tax year will need to be declared on the return.
