We would be grateful if you would let us have the necessary paperwork to prepare your Self-Assessment Tax Return. A list of the information we will need is below. You may not have all the types of income and paperwork listed so please just refer to the ones that are relevant to you.
This is for the period 6 April 2020 – 5 April 2021.
Getting your paperwork to us.
You can drop your books off at our offices. You can drop small bundles through the letterboxes in the shutter on an evening or weekend, or you can send your paperwork via Royal Mail or courier.
If you are keeping digital records, you can send files by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please can you provide us with all your information by 31 October 2021 to ensure that we can prepare your Tax Return in time meet the filing deadline of 31 January 2022.
If we do not receive your information by this time, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet the deadline and we may need to charge additional fees to cover staff overtime.
Late Tax Returns incur a minimum £100 HMRC penalty.
