Rates relief and grants

The government has issued a series of grants through local authorities to support business that have had to close during local and national lockdowns.

  • You may be asked to provide evidence of trading
  • The grants form part of your taxable income
  • The grants are not subject to VAT
  • Discretionary grants may be availability for businesses who remained open but saw a drop in turnover.
